Imagine your body has tiny helpers called immune soldiers. These soldiers are supposed to fight bad germs, like those that make you sick. But sometimes, these soldiers can get mixed up. In people with alopecia, the immune soldiers think that hair is a bad guy and start to fight it!

That’s why hair starts to fall out in patches. Its like if someone took tiny scissors and snipped out some of your hair. It might look different, but it doesn’t mean you’re sick or did anything wrong. Everyone is special and beautiful just the way they are, even without all their hair.
Don’t worry, lots of people have hair that grows back. Sometimes it takes a while, and sometimes it doesn’t. But there are lots of fun ways to look great, like hats, scarves, or even cool headbands!

Remember, you’re amazing just the way you are!
