Look at these beautiful flowers, there are different kinds and colors. Just like us, people are different and special in their own way. 
Our hair is like the flowers in a garden, they come in different styles, lengths, and styles, just like flowers. 
Sometimes, flowers in a garden take a rest. They might disappear for a while. Our hair can do this too, sometimes. 
Alopecia is when our hair takes a longer break. It’s like the flowers in the garden are sleeping for a bit. It’s okay to feel different when this happens. 
Everyone is special, just like every garden is special. Let’s be kind to each other, no matter what our garden looks like.
A great activity to do with the kids after this presentation is to create their own flowers. You can provide colorful construction paper, precut into different flower petals and stems for the kiddos to create.
Everyone has special powers! Some Powers are easy to see, like running fast or jumping high. But some are hidden, like being kind or brave. 
Some superheroes have a special power called Alopecia. It means their hair takes a break. Just like other superheroes, they are strong and amazing! 
Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes. Some have curly hair, some have straight hair, and some have no hair at all. Everyone is special and amazing! 
Being strong isn’t about muscles. It’s about being brave, kind, and believing in yourself. 
Everyone is special, just like superheroes! Let’s be kind and supportive friends to everyone! 
A great activity to do with the kids after this presentation is to have them make superhero masks, take a picture with all the friends wearing their masks! Check out amazon to buy bulk masks or capes. Masks & Capes & Masks
